Travel is a wonderful aspect of life. Experiencing new cultures, meeting different people, and seeing the natural and man-made wonders around the globe are truly among the greatest blessings one can have. And women entrepreneurs travelling can be successful in their primary objective without letting their health fall apart.

There are two segments of human health; one is internal and the other being external health.

The internal health is what keeps your mind toned, having good visualization skills and all this can be achieved by doing varying meditations. Have a 16 hour flight? There is no better time than this to engage in ideas, dreams, having a conversation with your spirit.
Do you have the ability to pattern trace and identify your feelings to access your happiness and true self? Devote time to your spiritual self!
Whether you are flying, driving a car, using buses or trains keeping our internal health routines are key to staying and maintaining personal health along with clarity of mind.

Eat Healthy

Well, when traveling,you are often tempted to reward your taste buds by trying the local cuisine. I say experience the local cuisine but don’t go overboard with the sugars, carbs and alcohol. Some cultures eat more sugars than others while other cultures eat more carbs than others, while others eat high red meats. Enjoy the different tastes, textures and experiences.
You don’t have to lug along your entire pantry, just grab fruits, nuts and seeds. These healthy snacks will keep you away from high sugar stuff like pastries and carbs-rich food such as pizza. If unavoidable, keep your alcohol consumption to a minimum when on a business tour.

 

Do Yoga or something similar

When traveling to foreign countries for business tours, it is important to stay healthy and there is no better way than a yoga session, especially my Neigong routine which I can swear by. Yoga doesn’t mean you need to wake up at five in the morning to do it, just little movements of the body in the plane or in your hotel room will do wonders to your daily energy levels.

 

Wear Comfortable Attire

When in travel mode, choose comfortable clothing but since you are on a business tour, make sure you look professional. Use natural fabrics, they will let your body breathe easy, and stay away from synthetics. The number of people you will come across at the Dubai airport who look like they are going off to bed, is unbelievable. Dress for professional comfort.

 

Take Your Vitamin Supplements

Take your vitamin supplements like Vitamin B’s& C, COQ10, I take my green fermented organic protein powder I take a Magnesium and a multivitamin effervescent to put into my drink to keep my immune system strong. For women,a gentle Senna tea is beneficial to stay regular and healthy during your tour. Also, read my blog on women Entrepreneur travelling.
As usual I always mention I take high quality essential oils. Peppermint oil goes in my hand bag for any energy crash. Melaleuca I take for blisters from high heels or suitcase handling. Of course I love my lavender to go into baths after a long day.

      Even though Im speaking to and about women, because Im a woman, these tips apply to men as well.

      To have our own good rituals, especially for travelling, certainly helps us to divert away from jet lag, impulse food grabbing and awareness of good water intake.
